API Documentation

PromptHub API is available for users with an active premium membership. Enable API access from your dashboard, then use your 32-character API key in requests.

Authentication

Use one of the following:

X-API-Key: your_32_char_key header (recommended)
Authorization: Bearer your_32_char_key
?api_key=your_32_char_key query param

If IP allowlist is configured in dashboard, requests are accepted only from those IPv4 addresses.

Endpoints

GET /api/v1/prompts

Returns paginated prompts with optional filters.

Query params: page, search, category

GET /api/v1/prompts/{id}

Returns a single prompt by ID.

Error Responses

Typical status codes: 401 invalid key, 403 membership/IP restriction, 404 resource not found.
